TRAINING, September 2008

posted on 9/29/2008

  •       INFOLINK and CJRLC have arranged for a repeat of the training workshops offered by Overdrive in September 2008.
  •      There are five sessions offered – each on a different day and time.
  •             Each session -- via ReadyTalk -- uses online web sharing and telephone conferencing.
  •             Each session can accommodate 96 participants.
  •             Eligible participants are library staff in current ListenNJ participating libraries.
  •      The five new libraries will have training later once all the libraries are set up with OverDrive. That training (probably mid to late Dec) will be the same five topics and will be open to both new and current ListenNJ members.
  •      Review the topics, dates, times and determine who on staff needs training “first time around” or as a refresher.
  •             Do the conference connection testing to determine your workstation has the required capabilities for the training. It is vital to do the test several days in advance.
